Do I really need the time of birth?
Yes, the time of birth is required: we need it to calculate the position of the stars. The time of birth is often on the birth announcement. If you are not sure of it, look in the papers from the birth or ask someone who was there.
Is this astrology or astronomy?
Both, each in its own place. The positions are astronomy: the real sky, calculated for date, time and place. The interpretation is astrological tradition, written as a story, for inspiration and enjoyment, not a prediction.
Can I see what it will look like first?
Yes, twice over. The free preview shows your child's calculated positions straight away, and the sample PDF shows the whole book from the inside before you fill in or order anything.
How long does delivery take?
The digital edition arrives in your inbox as a PDF as soon as the book has been written. The printed book is printed locally and delivered to your door with track & trace, usually within 5–10 working days.
Is this a birth chart?
Yes, and more than that. A birth chart is the position of the sky at the moment of birth: the sun, the moon and the rising ascendant. We actually calculate that position, from date, time and place, and turn it into a book: with the star map above the place of birth, the moon of that night, chapters of their own on the sun sign, the moon sign and the ascendant, and a growth guide from 0 to 18. Written as a story, to keep; it is not a prediction.
Is it a good gift for a first Christmas?
A first Christmas is often the moment the whole family sees the child together for the first time. A book about the night they were born fits that moment well: it is about this one child and will still be read eighteen years from now.
